Board & Train - Two Week Program $1,500

How does it work?

We keep the program small to ensure that your dog receives plenty of training, attention, and play time.

Typically, there will be 2-5 training sessions per day to ensure your dog will get plenty of training and the attention it needs. We know you love your companion, and we will treat your pooch as if it were one of our own. We understand this is a big investment, and realize it can be difficult to be away from your dog — we truly love our dogs too, and have been in the exact same spot you are in.
Take pride in knowing you are taking the first step in securing the foundation for a bright and fulfilled future for your entire family.

At the time of pick-up, you will have your first go-home lesson, at our facility. During this session, we will show you everything that we have shown your dog. It’s imperative that you remain consistent with what we have shown your dog so that you maximize the results of the program. Don’t worry — we also send you a home with handouts for your convenience, which will reinforce the behaviors and cues that your dog has learned. We do not expect you to be an expert on day 1, which is why we will be here for additional help and assistance as needed.

Board and Train Dog Training FAQs

Q. Do you offer payment plans?
A. We require 50% of the total cost of the training when you drop your dog(s) off. The balance is due when you pick your dog(s) up.

Q. Can I visit my dog during the training?
A. No. You are not allowed to visit the dog during training, because it will generally cause setbacks in the training and cause the training to take longer. Therefore, we do not allow visits.

Q. Can I get updates on my dog’s progress?
A. We are happy to give updates on your dog's progress during their board and train stay. Just give us a call or send us an email and we will be happy to inform you of their progress.

Benefits of Board and Train

Accelerates Learning

Board-and-train programs can help accelerate the learning process because your pet is constantly with their trainers. A strict routine helps reinforce new behavior, which is what a board-and-train program provides. Your dog will also spend more time in class or actively training than they would in traditional training classes, which can help reinforce lessons and behaviors.
Convenience for Dog Parents

If you’re a dog parent with a busy schedule, then a board-and-train program offers you the most flexibility. Your dog will be entirely cared for during the length of the program, this can be an ideal time to do projects that may be more complicated by the presence of your dog.
Provides a Different Environment for Behavior

A board-and-training program also helps expose your dog to new environments. This allows them to feel secure in places away from home. The training facility can reduce distractions that might exist at home, such as small children or other pets. Just like people, having a dedicated space to work and learn can seriously aid your dog’s retention and productivity.
Getting an Overall Assessment of Your Dog

One of the biggest benefits of attending board –and train is that you’ll have professionals assessing your dog’s behavior for an extended time. Smaller windows, like weekly classes, aren’t as comprehensive as classes in which an instructor is seeing and working with a pet every day. Produced by four paws.
